The Future of the Bentonville History Museum

Welcome back, or for those of you who are new here, welcome! This is the home of your very own Bentonville History Museum. Bentonville holds a rich history that locals and travelers alike uncover new information about each day and we are here to share this history with you!

You may be wondering what has been going on around the Bentonville History Museum for the past few months. We are excited to announce that our new location lies at Bentonville’s former Train Depot. This Depot was originally built in 1925 and acted as a branch of the St. Louise-San Francisco Railway Co (Frisco Line) that connected to Rogers, Arkansas. This was instrumental in the development of agricultural resources, industrial hubs, and resort communities over the years. After WWII, the Bentonville station was closed; however, the structure of the Train Station and the iconic Caboose still reside at 416 S Main Street here in Bentonville, Arkansas.

Although the Train Depot has changed hands over the years, the stories and history of the Train Deport continue to waft throughout the community. This is why when we were presented with the opportunity to open the Bentonville History Museum at this location, we knew it was meant to be. We are currently working on filling this museum with artifacts from Bentonville past to share with each of you and contribute to Bentonville’s future.

Thank you for taking the time to invest in Bentonville and stay turned for more news from your very own, Bentonville History Museum
